You need a referral from your doctor to become a patient at the Osteoporosis Clinic.

When making a referral, your doctor will include:

  • A letter of referral
  • Clinical notes
  • BMD results and images within the last year
  • Blood tests, x-rays and other test results

How Long Does a Referral Take?

We will inform your doctor when we have received the referral. Once a complete referral is received, it will be triaged and scheduled based on a standard priority scale. Due to the high volume of referrals that we receive, please be aware that it could take several months before you receive our call.
