Honour Roll

Congratulations to University Health Network's most recent honour roll participants. We look forward to publishing more achievements and recognition in the coming weeks and months.

Dr. Richard Reznick has been awarded the 2005 Daniel C. Tosteson, M.D. Award for Leadership in Medical Education. Dr. Reznick is Vice President of Education at University Health Network. The leadership award is given by the Carl J. Shapiro Institute for Education and Research of Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. The award recognizes an individual whose leadership has brought about significant innovation or improvement in undergraduate or graduate medical education.

Dr. Reznick is also R.S. McLaughlin Professor and Chair Department of Surgery, University of Toronto. He was the inaugural director of the Wilson Centre for Research in Education at UHN, and has been instrumental in a variety of education initiatives, including the development of a graduate training program in surgical education, a nationwide examination for medical licensure, and research in surgical skills training. The award will be presented at a ceremony in April at Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts.
