Guests dressed in their best ascot attire and joined us trackside at Woodbine's marquee tent for champagne, sumptuous lunch, luxurious auction and, of course, the best view of the thoroughbred races! The beloved Spence family hosted their 5th and most successful annual Charlie Spence memorial golf classic at Maple Ridge Golf Club on August 13th. The Spence family and friends celebrated the life of their father and successfully raised funds for vasculitis research.

Thursday, August 25th marked the 2nd Annual ‘Nine and Dine’ event at the Oakville Executive Golf Club. The day consisted of golf, lessons and tips from a CPGA Pro, dinner, a mini-fashion show and of course a great time for everyone who came out and showed their support!

On August 23rd, Roche Canada hosted their second annual Roche Canada Charity Soccer Tournament and this year proceeds benefited the Arthritis Research Foundation. Roche employees, interns and co-op students created teams to compete in the tournament and together raised over $5,000 for arthritis research!

On June 8th, the AARC Foundation hosted a luncheon reception to thank many of the foundations gracious supporters. Dr. Eleanor Fish joined guests at the DeGasperis Conservatory to discuss AARC’s exciting new life-changing research in imaging inflammation.

Thank you to Charles and Mary Alexander who hosted their third exciting evening of elegance, dining and ballroom dancing at LeDome Banquet Hall in Oakville on Saturday, April 9th, 2011. This fiesta was a great success!
