At the third annual Rocket Ride for Rehab event in Toronto's Nathan Phillips Square, there was no denying the passion that is felt for the incredible work at Toronto Rehab.

The energy, comradery, and community spirit demonstrated on Oct. 14 by more than 300 spin-cycling participants was not only inspiring, but it "Rocketed" it to a Guinness World Record for the most money raised in a static cycling event!

Remarks from Toronto Mayor John Tory and a special message from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau helped motivate our participating past patients, supporters, scientists, clinicians, staff, family and friends in the five-hour relay event.

Emcee and JOGA founder Jana Webb introduced special guests such as event co-founder, stroke survivor and top fundraiser, Howard Rocket, who shared his story, encouragement and gratitude.

The funds raised will have an enormous impact on advancing patient care and research at Toronto Rehab and we thank all our donors, participants and sponsors for helping make incredible happen!

Thanks so much to: Sprint Sponsors: Pixel Health, Spin Master and Bank of Montreal; Engagement Sponsors: Goodman Haliqua LLP, Gluckstein Personal Injury Lawyers, McCarthy Tétrault, Beck Taxi, Wealth Stewards.
