Step 2 Enter your email password and select Sign in. Your email password is the same password you use to log into your UHN device.

Moving forward, to access emails while off-site, users will be required to use either VPN or Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

When accessing your O365 Dashboard for the first time, you will be prompted to set up MFA.

  • MFA is a new security feature for off-site access to O365, which requires user ID, password and another authentication method for log in.

Upon first logging into the O365 Dashboard, you will be required to enter a phone number. We recommend you use a personal mobile phone number to access your account from anywhere.

You may also add an extension or landline number, however, you will need to be by that phone to complete MFA. Note, to add an extension number, you will need to enter a four-digits and the # sign.

There are three authentication methods you can use for MFA:

Phone Call
  • You will receive a phone call from (855) 344-4825.
  • Please press # to complete verification.
Text Message
  • You will receive a text message with a code.
  • Enter the code directly onto the webpage to complete verification.
Mobile Authenticator App
  • Download the Microsoft Authenticator App to an Apple, Android or Windows phone.
  • Use the app to receive notifications or enter a code.

After you move to O365, you will need to follow these steps to regain access to your email and calendar on your phone.

Be sure to review and print the setup instructions, which are available through your Setup Card and through the buttons below.
