Internet, Phone and​​ Televis​​ion

Wi-Fi access is available throughout our site, on the Guest Wireless Network. A password is not needed to access the Guest Wireless Network.

Pay Phones
A Public pay phone in the lobby is also available. You can call a taxi from the lobby pay phone or the patient/family courtesy phone in the Patient Library

​Bedside Phones

  • Patients in ward beds can order a telephone service directly from Bell Canada at 416 310 2355
  • Patients in Preferred Accommodation (semi-private or private rooms) can order telephone service by calling Patient Accounts at 416 597 3422 ext. 2175


Television

In-room television services may be ordered for a fee by calling 416 597 3422 ext. 2103. Televisions are also located in the patient lounges on each unit.​​

Information Desks

Information desks are located close to the entrances of all UHN facilities.​

Sec​​urity

All hospital staff wears an identification badge showing their name, job title and department.

Hospital security officers are always on duty. If you notice any suspicious individuals, call hospital security and tell your nurse or any other staff member.​

Lost ​​& Found

If you have lost something, contact the security office. If you have found an item, you can contact one of our security offices or give it to any staff member.

There is a Bickle Centre Patient computer room located beside the Patient Library on the 2nd​ (main floor)​

Location: 200A off main lobby
Hours: 7:30 am - 9:00 pm, open 7 days a week


Aquarium​
Location: 2nd Floor (Main Lobby) beside the entrance of the Patient Library.

Centre for Spiritual Reflection and Prayer​
Location: Room 204, main floor
Hours: 7:30 am - 9:00 pm

Weekly Activities​
These activities are open for patients and visitors to join. Please ask the staff on your unit for more details. Our volunteers can also provide activities for the unit and at your bedside.

Patient & F​​amily Library

Learn more about your health condition at the Patient and Family Library at the Bickle Centre. At the Library, you can:

  • Take home free brochures on health topics of interest and find other reading materials to use in the library
  • Look up online information in the computer room next to the library. Some computers have adaptive equipment to meet patients’ needs.​
  • Speak with a Consumer Health Librarian by calling the Sun Life Patient and Family Resource Centre at 416 597 3422 ext. 3956.

Hours: 7:30 am to 9:00 pm, open 7 days a week
