As medications are a cornerstone of good pain management, Pharmacy plays a vital role in the care of patients with pain. Working closely with patients and members of the team, the pharmacy team contributes their unique skills and knowledge to get the most out of drug therapy and cut down on unwanted effects.

Pharmacists provide pharmaceutical care to In-patients and out-patients across UHN.
They make sure the best possible results from medications and identify, prevent, and resolve actual and potential drug-related problems. Active members of interdisciplinary teams, they give excellent patient care and participate extensively in academic teaching and research activities. We are licensed graduates of Pharmacy and are dedicated to helping you with your medication needs. We are happy to answer any questions you may have.

Pharmacy technicians are crucial to the smooth operation of UHN’s safe and reliable drug distribution system. They see to it that medications are prepared safely and accurately and delivered on time.
