The Division of General Surgery at Toronto General Hospital provides comprehensive care for patients requiring surgery. A family physician or specialist will refer patients to our team of 11 surgeons, nurses and other multidisciplinary professionals.

Our services:

• Consultations and assistance in all aspects of general surgery
• Specific expertise in hepatobiliary (liver, bile duct and gallbladder) surgery, colorectal surgery, surgical oncology as well as inflammatory conditions and surgical infections
• Some other services provided are hernia repairs, whipples, colonoscopes, and critical care
