Students - Electronic Patient Record (EPR)
As part of your clinical learning experience, you may be required to read patient information and/or document some patient care in an online patient record called the Electronic Patient Record or EPR.
If you are going to a unit that uses online Medication Order Entry and an online Medication Administration Record (MOEMAR), then the appropriate course to take is Learning - MOEMAR EPR for Student Nurses. If you are going to a unit or clinic that does not use MOEMAR, then the appropriate course to take is Learning -Non-MOEMAR EPR for Student Nurses. After completing the appropriate Learning course, you will need to take the corresponding test.
You may use the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) only after:
- You have completed the eLearning Agreement Form “course” (course code NUUHSN001W_CBT) in the eLearning Centre, or submitted a signed UHN Agreement form to the Nursing Education Department. Only students who do not have access to the eLearning Centre should submit a hard copy of the Agreement Form.
- You have completed the appropriate Learning EPR Student Nurses course and Test EPR for Student Nurses course.
