Students - Drug Information

Drug information is available in the Micromedex database via the Virtual Library on the Corporate Intranet. The Virtual Library is not available off-site.

The Micromedex database is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Delivering comprehensive and full-text drug information at the point of care, Micromedex provides independently reviewed data gathered from the world's medical literature. FDA-approved and investigational drugs are covered with regard to dosage, pharmacokinetics, cautions, interactions, clinical applications, and comparative drug efficacy. Information can be retrieved by generic name, manufacturer brand name, or indications.
