Many people living with a brain tumour feel worried, sad or stressed at various stages of their cancer journey. Relaxation exercises may help you cope with both everyday stress and stress that you may be feeling about your health.
To learn more about relaxation exercises, an occupational therapist can work with you one-on-one during an individual relaxation therapy session or you can attend the weekly drop-in relaxation group at the Pencer Brain Tumour Centre.
For more information, please contact Ilyse Lax, Occupational Therapist at 416 946 4501 x3995.
If you are interested in attending the relaxation group, please join us on Wednesdays at 1:15 pm in the Pencer Brain Tumour Centre Conference Room, 18th floor. No prior registration is necessary.
Patients receiving treatment at the Pencer Brain Tumour Centre can schedule an individual relaxation session by contacting Ilyse at the telephone number above.
