Patient and Family Resource Centres
The Patient and Family Library and 14 satellite learning centres comprise the Patient and Family Resource Centres. The Patient and Family Resource Centres house an ever-increasing collection of cancer health information ranging from prevention through treatment and follow-up.
Only steps away from the Murray Street entrance the Patient and Family Library provides you with a wide array of books, videos, CDs and pamphlets to help you get the information you want. A great place to read a book, relax with a video or access the PMH Computer-based Patient Education Network.
In order to provide you with easy access to cancer information while you are waiting for appointment and treatment, 15 Patient and Family Resource Centres are strategically located in the waiting areas throughout the hospital.
Resources available in the Resource Centres
- Health-related books, videos, CDs available for loan
- Consumer health and medical reference books
