Over 150 different languages are spoken in Toronto and over 200 cultural groups are represented in this city alone. The United Nations recognizes Toronto as “the most ethnically diverse city” in the world.

The Patient Education department at UHN strives to improve the quality and availability of health care information for patients who do not speak English as their primary language and have a limited ability to read, speak, write, or understand English . This means providing translated materials that meet your written language needs.
