Cardiovascular Surgery

Cardiovascular surgery is a treatment for patients with diseases of the heart and great vessels, and includes procedures such as coronary artery bypass surgery, cardiac transplantation, and mechanical support of circulation. Cardiovascular surgery also provides treatment for many complex cardiac problems, including valvular disease hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy, thoracic aneurysms and adult congenital heart disease.
