Hold this date!
On behalf of the Planning Committee we invite you to participate in the 9th Princess Margaret Hospital Conference - New Developments in Cancer Management: Personalized Patient Care to be held at the Sheraton Centre in Toronto, October 29-31, 2009.
The PMH Conference is an annual CME conference that is directed towards clinicians (oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, radiation therapists, and others) and researchers in the area of cancer care, as well as towards primary care providers who work with cancer patient populations. The goal of the conference is to discuss ideas and innovations in cancer management. This years' theme is Personalized Cancer Care, with the focus on breast, gastrointestinal and lung cancers
At the end of the conference, participants will:
| • | Develop a better understanding of state of the art knowledge in breast, gastrointestinal and lung cancers. |
| • | Be in a position to apply this knowledge to clinical care of their patients. |
| • | Improve their awareness of quality and standards issues in cancer service delivery. |
We are planning a very engaging format for this year's conference, including several debates between leaders in the field regarding best practice approaches to the treatment of specific cancers, as well as case study discussions. In addition to plenary sessions, we are planning to include smaller group workshops, which will allow for more interactive discussions between presenters and participants.
