technician at labThe Centre for Renal Research: Information, Technology, Innovation, Quality and Education (CR2ITIQUE) is dedicated to effectively turning basic research from "bench" to "bedside" with a strong emphasis on clinical research.  We are always conducting research studies to evaluate and advance the science of kidney transplantation, and the care of transplant patients.

Current research areas include:

  • Long-term chronic kidney injury and function in transplant patients
  • Immunosuppression drug therapeutics and monitoring
  • Physiological complications – diabetes, obesity and cardiovascular- related
  • Quality of care research – Identifying approaches to improve  your care processes with our best medicine practices
