What We Do

The Retina Clinic is the largest in North America, treating the highest volumes of macular degeneration, complex retinal detachments and diabetic retinopathy cases in Canada.

The retina is a thin layer of light sensitive cells that line the inside back wall of the eye. The retina is obviously crucial to good vision so if it's damaged, images received by the brain will be blurred, and the view won't be clear.

We provide specialized care for patients with:

  • Blinding retinal infections
  • Diabetic retinopathy
  • Macular degeneration
  • Retinal detachment

 Tests/Services

  • Automated Visual Field Testing
  • OCT Test (Optical Coherence Tomography)
  • Retinal fluorescein angiography
