Towards an Ontario Strategy: A Symposium on Neuropathic Pain

Action Ontario is a patient advocacy group for those suffering from neuropathic pain. Neuropathic pain is the result of damage or disease to the nervous system. There are many causes of nueuropathic pain including multiple sclerosis, AIDS, diabetes, cancer and nerve injuries.

This symposium will be held during National Pain Week, and will bring together patients, clinicians, researchers and other interested parties to explore a provincial strategy to address the growing needs of this patient population.
