The Charles H. Tator - Barbara Turnbull Lectureship Series in Spine Cord Injury:
Poster Competition

Welcome Program Keynote Speaker Poster Competition  Location & Directions

Abstracts are being accepted for poster presentation at the 9th Annual Charles H. Tator – Barbara Turnbull Lectureship Series in Spinal Cord Injury on Friday, November 12, 2010. The purpose of this event is to showcase to the scientific community and to the general public,
research and discoveries performed by students in the area of spinal cord injury. All trainees (graduate students and postdoctoral fellows) are encouraged to participate by submitting an abstract as outlined below:

To submit an abstract, please:

  • Compose a brief abstract of 250-300 words
  • Arial or Times Roman 11 point font
  • Include a hypothesis and purpose, methods, results and conclusions
  • First author must be a trainee (graduate student or postdoctoral fellow)
  • Indicate the following in the top of the page:
    • Abstract title
    • List all authors
    • Affiliation (hospital, institution, university)
  • Submit in Word or as an email attachment to alem@uhnres.utoronto.ca
  • Abstract deadline is October 29, 2010

PRIZES: The Krembil Neuroscience Centre has established two prizes for best student posters (judged by abstract and poster presentation):

  • $300 for top prize
  • $150 for 2nd place

The Poster Session and Competition will take place at 89 Chestnut University of Toronto, Colony Grande Ballroom, 2nd Floor, 89 Chestnut Street, Toronto, ON M5G 1R1.
