This is not an exhaustive list, but includes some of the terminology commonly used in the assessment and treatment of neuro-oncology disorders:

Craniotomy

An operation to make an opening in the skull.

Gamma knife

The name of a device that delivers precise beams of radiation therapy to target areas of the brain surgically to treat inaccessible arterioveneous malformations, difficult brain tumors, drug-resistant movement disorders, pain and epilepsy. Also known as stereotactic radiosurgery.
