Sarah Munce, MSc 
Sarah Munce graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Science Degree (Honours) in Health Studies and Gerontology. She did her Master’s of Science degree at the University of Toronto in the Institute of Medical Science under the supervision of Dr. Donna Stewart. Her thesis project investigated the role of work stress as a moderating variable in the depression and chronic pain association using the Canadian Community Health Survey (CCHS-1.1). During this time, she was awarded two graduate scholarships (OGSST) and received an AWCBC Public Forum ‘Top Three’ Presenter award. This work has been published in the Journal of Psychosomatic Research and Psychosomatics. She is currently involved in a CIHR-funded project on work stress and mental health as well as a project on obesity and mental health, both of which are using the CCHS 1.2 data.
