Moira Kapral, MD, MSc, FRCPC
Dr. Kapral is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Health Policy, Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto and a Senior Scientist at the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences in Ontario (ICES). She is a general internist at the Toronto General Hospital, University Health Network. She holds an MD degree and an MSc degree in Clinical Epidemiology, both from the University of Toronto. Her research interests include stroke health services research and stroke care in women. She is an investigator with the Canadian Stroke Network, is co-Principal Investigator of the Registry of the Canadian Stroke Network, and is a member of the Ontario Stroke Evaluation Advisory Committee. She currently holds a 5-year career investigator award from the Canadian Institutes for Health Research.
