Patient Information
Going Home
You should leave the hospital with a supply of pain medicine to help
you. It is important to tell your family doctor, so that you can get
help with pain
or side effects like constipation. If you have problems with your pain control
at home, notify your doctor or surgeon. Patients who were helped by the Acute
Pain Service in the hospital can contact the Acute Pain Service nurse at (416)
603-5800 ext. 2207.
