Premier Pays a Visit

Ontario Premier, Dalton McGuinty visits Nurses on 6B West - Head and Neck Oncology. View larger image

On May 15, Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty visited
Toronto General Hospital as part of Nursing Week's “Take Your MPP To Work” event.  A few chosen units were selected for a tour, which included 9 Eaton-
General Surgery and 6B West-Head and
Neck Surgical Oncology.

 “People will have an implicit trust in
you by virtue of the honorable, noble
profession you have joined,” he said.
“There are lots of jobs out there, but
to have a calling, to be able to help
others—that's really special.”

Premier McGiunty wrote a special thanks to the staff of 6B in the units’ “Graffiti Board” which highlights patient and their family’s sentiments about their experience in the unit.
