Students are an integral part of the Head and Neck Program at PMH and TGH. Nursing students come from the University of Toronto, Ryerson University, as well as Humber and George Brown Colleges;
Expansion of student placements is linked with Nursing recruitment and retention.
The Nursing Education Coordinator coordinates all clinical placements across PMH/TGH. There are nursing students on each of the inpatient units.
17A/B and 6B West usually have 2-4 pregrads as well as 10 students 2 days per/week per semester. Senior students also have clinical placements in the ambulatory clinics. ACNP / MN students are preceptored by cross-appointed MN/MSc nurses within the programs.
