The University of Toronto has recently introduced a new undergraduate curriculum. Basic Otolaryngology disease processes and principles will be conveyed in the Pathobiology of Disease, and the Foundations of Medical Practice blocks in the second year. Clinical attachment will begin in a longitudinally based 6-week block in the third year Basic Clerkship, shared between Otolaryngology, Family Practice and Ophthalmology. This teaching will be academy based, as listed below:
