Dr. Matthew Stanbrook
Staff Physician, Division of Respirology, UHN
At the Asthma and Airway Centre, Dr. Stanbrook consults with patients with general respirology problems, with a focus on common disorders of the airways. Dr. Stanbrook graduated from University of Toronto medical school in 1995 and completed his residency training in Internal Medicine and Respirology.
Dr. Stanbrook acquired additional research training in the Royal College Clinician Investigator Program followed by a research fellowship with Jeffrey Drazen at The New England Journal of Medicine, where he was the first person to hold the position of Editorial Fellow. He holds a PhD in Clinical Epidemiology while working at the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences in Ontario under the supervision of Donald Redelmeier. Dr. Stanbrook has been the recipient of numerous awards for his research, teaching, and oral presentation skills.
