Department of Anesthesia (TWH)

The Department of Anesthesia, The Toronto Western Hospital, is offering 1-year research and clinical fellowships in the areas of neuroanesthesia, regional anesthesia and ambulatory anesthesia for the period starting in 2008. The Toronto Western Hospital, part of the University Health Network, is a tertiary care centre affiliated with the University of Toronto and is located in downtown Toronto. The hospital is one of Canada’s premier neuroscience centres, the busy regional anesthesia team has been a pioneer in the development of ultrasound guided regional anesthesia and our ambulatory surgery unit is led by Dr. Frances Chung. There is also the possibility for the creation of novel combined fellowships with our sister hospital, The Toronto General Hospital, in the areas of cardiac, vascular and transplant anesthesia.

Candidates must hold qualifications equivalent to a Specialists’ Certificate in Anesthesia (e.g. FRCPC, FRCA, FFARCSI or FANZCA). Interested individuals should submit their CV with the names of three referees to:
