Course Description and Objectives
This workshop aims to provide practical skills and knowledge for anesthesiologists and pain practitioners to apply regional anesthesia and start of the art pain modalities more effectively and safely.
- After successful completion of the course, attendees should be able to:
- Describe the role of ultrasound imaging in regional anesthesia
- Identify artifacts and pitfalls associated with regional anesthesia and nerve injury
- Integrate the latest advances in analgesics for patients having epidurals and C-section with discussion of new analgesics for regional anesthesia
- Use ultrasound for specific regional anesthesia techniques for various patient challenges.
