Tourette's Syndrome - a disorder characterized by tics which are involuntary, rapid, sudden movements or vocalizations that occur repeatedly.
If you or someone you know are experiencing these symptoms or warning signs seek medical attention:
| • | Simple motor tics: eye blinking, head jerking, eye darting, finger flexing, sticking out tongue |
| • | Simple Vocal Tics: hiccupping yelling, throat clearing, barking |
| • | Complex motor tics: nose touching, touching other people, smelling objects, obscene gestures, arm flapping |
| • | Complex Vocal Tics: different voice intonations, repeating words or phrases,, obscene language |
| • | Complex tics, which are distinct, coordinated patterns of movements involving several muscle groups |
