We offer an outpatient program that provides help to adolescents and adults in the Portuguese speaking community who are experiencing problems with their mental health such as anxiety or depression; or challenges in dealing with alcohol misuse or addiction to drugs such as cocaine, narcotics or methamphetamine and methamphetamine-like drugs. We treat our patients with care and compassion in an environment that is knowledgeable about and sensitive to the cultural aspects of the Portuguese speaking communities.

A multidisciplinary team including social workers and psychiatrists works together to give the client the care that he/she needs.

We have three main services:

general assessment, treatment and consultation to get a handle on the problem
addiction/concurrent disorder service dealing with drug and alcohol problems that sometimes go with mental illness
intensive case management service for chronic mental illness.

AND in addition we offer psychotherapy, group programs and community education and agency training seminars.

ELIGIBILITY is limited to people who are fluently Portuguese speaking with a mental health and/or addiction problem or concern. Priority is given to those who are Portuguese language dependent. Court ordered referrals for addiction treatment are accepted.
