Volunteering at UHN - Pre-Arranged Placements

At University Health Network we understand that practicing exceptional medicine means having exceptional people. We recognize that staff members play a significant role in identifying supportive resources in their areas. In order to support a staff member’s decision to bring aboard supportive resources, Volunteer Resources has created the Pre-Arranged Placement Program to guide candidates through UHN’s mandatory health screening process.

All prospective pre-placement volunteers at UHN must complete the following steps to become a registered UHN Volunteer, regardless of where they will be volunteering, including research:

Process For Pre-Arranged Placement Applicants

1.	Complete an online pre-arranged placement application once you have arranged your placement with a supervisor.
2.	Go to Volunteer Resources and get a pre-arranged placement package including information on health assessments, referral forms and orientations.
3.	Discuss placement details with a Volunteer Resources Program Coordinator.
