How to Get Referred

You need a referral from your doctor to become a patient at the Psoriatic Arthritis Clinic.

When making a referral, your doctor will include:

  • A letter of referral
  • Clinical notes
  • Relevant lab test results and x-rays
  • Medication history

How Long Does a Referral Take?

Usually the doctor who referred you to the Psoriatic Arthritis Clinic will contact you with your appointment time. Call your doctor's office if you do not receive information about your appointment within a few weeks. Usually first-time patients are prioritized according to the severity of their condition. Clinic bookings for new patients are 4 to 6 months after the referral is received.
