Ankylosing Spondylitis Program

Main Page Content

Directors:

The UHN Spondylitis Program offers training opportunities for both clinical trainees and basic science students.

Trainees who have completed rheumatology training, many of whom are international trainees, come to gain advanced training in the management of ankylosing spondylitis (AS).

Core rheumatology trainees work in the Ankylosing Spondylitis Clinic as part of their rheumatology training.

Dr. Inman and Dr. Haroon are members of the School of Graduate Studies at the University of Toronto, and active in supervising graduate students in both the Institute for Medical Sciences and the Department of Immunology. With access to a busy and well-organized AS clinic and a state-of-the-art laboratory in the new Krembil Discovery Tower, trainees are well positioned to conceptualize and carry out excellent translational research projects.
