Leslie Williams, BSc, BScN
Clinical Trials Coordinator

Leslie Williams graduated from McMaster University with a BSc and a BScN

During her undergraduate studies in Science and Nursing she volunteered extensively through Central and South America working on disaster relief projects and in orphanages.

This experience sparked her interest in international health and poverty and inspired her desire to pursue graduate studies in this area. She believes in the importance of making a contribution to improving health outcomes for people living in poverty. After completing her nursing degree, she accepted a position as a staff nurse on 17A & B and 16P at Princess Margaret Hospital. Six months later she joined the Pencer Brain Tumor Center as a clinical trials nurse. The innovative scientific research studies being conducted at the Pencer Centre continue to spark her interest in the impact of science on health outcomes.
