Dr. Ayman Omar
Clinical Research Fellow
Department of Medical Oncology and Hematology
Dr. Omar is a Clinical Research Fellow in the Department of Medical Oncology and Hematology at Princess Margaret Hospital. His clinical and research interests focus on adult brain tumours.
Dr. Omar earned his medical degree from the University of Cairo. In addition he has a Master of Science degree in anatomy and neurobiology, and a PHD in Neuroscience/Cellular Molecular Medicine, both from the University of Ottawa.
Prior to joining the team at The Pencer Centre he completed a residency in Neurology, at the University of Missouri. He is a member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and is the recipient of numerous awards.
Dr. Omar joined the staff of The Pencer Centre in July 2006.
