Dr. Kim Edelstein
Neuropsychologist
Dr. Kim Edelstein joined The Pencer Centre at Princess Margaret Hospital in February 2004. She received her Ph.D. in Psychology from Concordia University in Montreal in 1998. She moved to Toronto in 1999, where she completed postdoctoral research fellowships at the University of Toronto (1999-2001) and the Hospital for Sick Children (2002-2004). She completed her training in clinical neuropsychology at the Hospital for Sick Children and Toronto Western Hospital.
In addition to her position in The Pencer Centre, she is an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto, scientist in the Toronto General Research Institute, and member of the University of Toronto Centre for Biological Timing and Cognition. Her research focuses on the neurocognitive effects of treatment in adult brain tumour patients and in adult survivors of childhood brain tumours.
