MFP TV commenced in the Spring of 2003 as a means of communication between the Chief Nursing Executive and the nurses at all of the UHN sites during the SARS crisis. MFP TV grew to become one of the most popular features on the Nursing Intranet as well as the Nursing Internet. In December, 2010 Mary Ferguson-Paré host of MFP TV retired.
Over an eight year period MFP TV profiled the importance and diversity of Nursing and Allied Health at UHN by going on location to a variety of practice areas as well as by profiling specific initiatives. Although MFP TV is no longer in production all episodes are archived here.
Many MFPTV episodes are also posted to UHN Nursing YouTube Channel at http://www.youtube.com/UHNNursing.
